Expelled

I watched the movie Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed this week. My husband and my oldest son watched it, too. It was interesting, at times funny, and always thought provoking.

We’ve had several excellent discussions with our son about the material that was presented in the video. Ben Stein shows that scientists who even hint at believing in the possibility of Intelligent Design are being blacklisted. The interviews and explanations show the weaknesses in Darwinism, as well as the frightening effect that the pervasive belief in Darwinism is having on our culture. The movie clearly illustrates the tie between Darwinism and abortion. It also explains how embracing Darwinism ultimately leads to atheism.

Ken Ham at Answers in Genesis urged every Christian to watch this movie.

Ham wrote in his blog on February 20th, “It is eye-opening, astonishing, exposing, fascinating, entertaining, and intriguing! While the movie is not about biblical Creation, it uses creative means to show that the science community only wants “academic freedom” for evolutionists. Those who advocate for Intelligent Design are frequently ostracized, ridiculed and fired.

Ham went on to write, “…this movie makes for the most powerful presentation of the anti-intelligent design bias in the secular world you will ever experience.
You will be shocked by what you see and hear because you will begin to experience the hypocrisy in the scientific world concerning so-called academic freedom.”
